Strawberries and bananas go so well together. They are like peanut butter and jelly. Blue and the sky. Vegan cheese to my vegan macaroni. They are just made for each other.
Strawberry Banana Baked Oatmeal is one of my personal favorite breakfasts, so as I’ve been preparing new dog recipes I’ve had the urge to try some new versions of the strawberry banana combo. I’ve already made the Creamy Strawberry Banana Smoothie (to be posted) and the baked oatmeal version. Overnight oats just made sense (I like breakfast…a lot).
The trick with ONOs is the solid to liquid ratio. If you get too much liquid the ONOs become more of a soupy deliciousness, and I prefer a thicker yumminess. Although, both are good. This recipe could probably do well with 1/4 cup water or almond milk, but you can decide what you prefer. Play around with it!
